Ruud lubbers doodsoorzaak /\ Rudolphus Franciscus Marie (Ruud) Lubbers was a Christian Democratic politician in the Netherlands who served as a minister of state, entrepreneur, and diplomat during his lifetime.
From November 4, 1982, to August 22, 1994, he served as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. With 4,310 days under his belt, he holds the record for the longest-serving Dutch Prime Minister in history.
Lubbers completed his studies in economics before starting work for the Hollandia corporation. In 1973, he made his political debut as Minister of Economic Affairs in the Den Uyl administration, marking the beginning of his political career.
Lubbers moved fast through the ranks of the parliamentary group following his tenure as prime minister, and he was instrumental in the formation of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) as a Christian fusion party in 1980.
As a result of Dries van Agt’s unexpected resignation as leader of the CDA party following the parliamentary elections in 1982, Lubbers was appointed as the party’s negotiator, and he was appointed Prime Minister of the Netherlands in 1982 (at the age of 43), making him the country’s youngest Prime Minister.
Ruud Lubbers, the former prime minister of the Netherlands, passed away today in his hometown of Rotterdam.
Having suffered with health issues for quite some time, he had become increasingly reclusive in his public appearances. The funeral will take place in Rotterdam on Tuesday.
Lubbers, who was elected Prime Minister of the Netherlands on May 7, 1939, was the country’s longest-serving leader. Between 1982 and 1994, the CDA member served as the leader of three cabinets, two with the VVD and one with the PvdA.
The way Ruud’s political career came to an end, according to Privé, has led some in The Hague to believe that his depression is a result of that decision.
His image was that of a womaniser, and he was also accused of sexual intimidation on a number of different occasions.
Lubbers is alleged to have grabbed the buttocks of a 51-year-old UN employee, and it was later discovered that other women working for the UNHCR had had terrible experiences with him as well. His wife, Ria, has always been there for him.
Few people are aware of the true state of affairs with Lubbers. “We used to talk to each other, but now it’s quiet,” recalls one of Privé’s political friends, while another observes that “Last year, Ruud promised to come by bicycle, but I never saw him.”
To make matters worse, Ruud’s wife is also suffering, according to Privé’s account. According to family members, Ria, who is 77 years old, became disoriented and was taken to a clinic.
As a result, it would explain why Ria hasn’t been seen in quite some time as well.
Ruud Lubbers was the Prime Minister of the Netherlands from 1982 and 1994, according to everyone who grew up during that time period.
He was the Prime Minister of the Netherlands for the longest period of time! Unfortunately, there were no photographs taken during the swearing-in ceremony for the Lubbers 1 cabinet. We are, nevertheless, able to provide photographs of a cabinet excursion.
Afterwards, Lubbers transfers control of the informership to Opstelten. Ruud is then informed by Hirsch Ballin that he will not be participating. Hirsch Ballin’s wife shared the following with him:
“Wilders is completely incorrect, therefore please do not subject me and my children to this humiliating experience. That man stands up for principles that we do not agree with, and that is not possible.”
